Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use Where Legends Grow at wherelegendsgrow.com or inside the Bread app. The game is run by Wiktor Starczewski ("we", "us"). By playing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

2. The game

Where Legends Grow is a free online football manager. It is under active development, so features will change, and some may be removed. When needed, for example to fix a serious problem or move the market to a new network, we may reset game progress, rankings or the market.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to play, or older if the law where you live requires it.
• You sign in with Bread, Google or Apple. Keep those accounts secure, because anyone who controls them can use your club. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Your Bread wallet and its recovery phrase are yours alone. We can't see, recover or reset them, and we can't undo transactions you approve.

4. Fair play

When you play, you agree not to:

• cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts or other automation;
• interfere with or overload the game, or try to reach accounts or data that aren't yours;
• post anything illegal, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit, or anything that infringes someone else's rights, including in club names, crests and messages;
• impersonate anyone, including other managers or us.

We may remove content, rename clubs, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If you find a bug that gives an unfair advantage, please tell us instead of using it.

5. The market and the blockchain

• The market runs on the Miden testnet. Testnet tokens, including USDCx on the testnet, have no monetary value and can't be exchanged for money through the game.
• Market actions are blockchain transactions that you approve in Bread. Once they're confirmed, they are final, and we can't reverse them.
• We may pause, change or reset the market. Listings, bids and balances held by the market may be cleared when that happens, especially during the testnet phase. We'll try to give notice before planned changes.
• Blockchain networks and wallets are run by others. We're not responsible for their outages, fees or errors.

6. In-game items

Players, Fame, crests, kits and other in-game items exist to be used in the game and have no monetary value. Fame can't be bought, sold or exchanged for anything outside the game.

7. The assistant manager

The assistant manager's replies are written by AI and can be wrong. Treat them as suggestions, not facts.

8. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of what you create, such as club names and messages. You allow us to store and show it in the game for as long as that's needed to run the game. Only post content you have the right to share.

The game, including its software, art, names and logos, belongs to us or our licensors. Please don't copy, change or redistribute it, except as the game itself allows.

9. Other services

The game works with services run by others, including Bread, the Miden network, Google, Apple and Groq. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.

10. Ending

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, and we may close the game. If we close it, we'll try to give notice.

11. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that progress will never be lost.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost progress, data, tokens or profits. Our total liability for any claim about the game is limited to 50 euros. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll also tell you in the game. If you keep playing after a change, the updated terms apply.
